This smoothie has a light, refreshing profile with a subtle natural sweetness from pear and a clean finish. Ingredients
•    1 ripe pear (cored and sliced)
•    1 handful fresh spinach
•    ½ small cucumber, chopped
•    ½-inch piece fresh ginger (adjust to taste)
•    Juice of ½ lime
•    1 cup cold water or unsweetened almond milk
•    Ice to blend
•    1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder
Preparation
1.    Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
2.    Blend until completely smooth and even in texture.
3.    Adjust liquid to thin, or ice to chill and thicken.
Refinements
•    For a softer profile: use slightly less lime.
•    For more silkiness: blend an extra 15–20 seconds.
